Commencement Cover Spread
The Ask
I was given the opportunity to design the commencement covers for Miami University's graduating class of 2023 in the following divisions: The College of Creative Arts, the College of Education, Health, and Society, and the College of Arts and Sciences. I chose to design a flat graphic-style cover for these three divisions. This allowed me to play with the flow of the icons on each cover that represent their majors. Using a limited color palette, I created icons representing each of the majors from each division and arranged them to create visual flow and color contrast. I utilized the back cover to design a visually interesting and fluid design to continue the geometric and organic flow depicted on the front. This was a project I greatly enjoyed working on, and it was very well received by the various departments that approved it.
